TacoBilly in West Asheville serves a tempting array of lunch offerings until 3 p.m., but what you really need to try at Hunter and Beth Berry’s restaurant are the breakfast tacos. The couple lived in Texas and Mexico before moving to North Carolina in 2015. They brought with them a mastery of the oft-maligned flour tortilla, served with a choose-your-own-adventure combo of scrambled eggs, sausage, spinach, sweet potato, onion, jalapeños, goat cheese, queso fresco, and/or colby-jack cheese. The joint is small and the lines are long, so hit it up on a weekday if you can. Weekends are chaos.
