At Tasty Beverage Company in Asheville’s South Slope brewery district, “liquid biscuits” means only one thing: beer. And lots of it. Johnny Bellflower’s 4,500-square-foot shop and tasting room has 10 taps and more than 1,000 crafty bottles for sale. Entire aisles are devoted to regional and international brews, including limited offerings from next-door neighbors (Wicked Weed, Green Man, Burial, etc.) and rising Carolina stars like Newgrass, Zebulon, and Appalachian Mountain.
Folks who find themselves thirsty in Research Triangle can check out the O.G. Tasty, located in Raleigh; it celebrated its five-year anniversary in 2016.
