Goodbeer Faucets in Tokyo is glossy like the rest of Shibuya, and you know what? That’s fine with us considering it has more than 40 craft beers on tap—mostly Japanese and U.S. brews reflecting the studied tastes of owner Teruya Hori. If you read Japanese or trust your browser’s translation skills, check out the bar’s Twitter for daily updates on the rare pints passing through Goodbeer’s pipes. Its choice offerings have included Ise Kadoya‘s Lush Hop IPA, Lompoc Brewing‘s Raisin Hell pale ale, and a pumpkin-packed seasonal from the brewery co-op Iwate Kura. Budget-minded beer fans are encouraged to swing by between 5 and 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday, to take advantage of the generous happy hour special: ¥200 ($1.75 USD) off every draft. Kanpai!
