You can’t go to Las Vegas and not indulge in a kitschy cocktail (or three). The Golden Tiki in Chinatown is done up to the nines in Disneyfied Polynesian fanfare. We’re talking pin-up waitresses with flowers in their hair, leopard-print banquettes, video poker at every bar stool, a life-size clam for Instagram “shellfies,” and pu-pu platters served Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. onward. The bartenders deal in classic Hurricanes, Mai Tais, Painkillers, Dark N Stormys, and Navy Grogs, plus punch bowls poisonous enough to put your whole crew down for the count. Most cocktails are $12 a piece, but seeing how this is Vegas, there’s a rare-rum number to set big spenders back $500. Best of all, this joint is off the Strip and so chill, members of the Ramones and Blondie drink here.
