Field of Corn, commonly called “Cornhenge” by its local detractors, is a publicly funded art installation in Dublin, Ohio, featuring 109 six-foot-tall corn cobs standing upright in a grassy field. There used to be actual corn planted here, farmed from 1935 to 1964 by Sam Frantz, an inventor of hybrid corn. Today it’s all concrete ears surrounded by office parks and chain restaurants. It’s worth a three-minute photo op if you’re driving through the area, but don’t go out of your way for it. Unless you have chihuahuas with you; then it’s totally worth it.
