It took Old Glory only a couple of months to become one of Nashville’s buzziest cocktail bars. You can thank the sisters Soler for that. Miami natives Alexis and Britt (both of No. 38) spent a year hunting for the perfect venue to launch a business together. Talk eventually turned to the former boiler room of White Way Cleaners, a vacant Edgehill Village property with 60-foot ceilings, exposed brick, and a smokestack that would take Santa Claus days to scale. The Solers were smitten, a deal was struck, and now you can order inventive cocktails like the Beet Happening (Fidencio mezcal + beets + Greek yogurt + dill + lime + agave) delivered to your table, pronto. Light bites and sweets are offered by chef Rachel Tumerman; how does a candy plate with housemade tootsie rolls and gummies sound?
