There are a number of reasons to visit Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Georgia, most having to do with your belly: Cubanos at El Super Pan, Indian street snacks from Botiwalla, South African beef jerky at Biltong Bar, and filling ramen and yakitori fare at Ton Ton. But PCM is also home to one of the South’s coolest shops: Citizen Supply, a self-described “curated marketplace” specializing in handcrafted goods. It was founded by Phil Sanders as a pop-up, but got such big raves, he decided to make it a permanent thing. The sprawling store is located on the second floor of the market and carved into sub-shops stocking raw Billiam denim, stylish Brother Moto helmets and Bradley Mountain rucksacks, colorful fair-trade Teysha kicks, Native Bear stationery, INK+ALLOY jewelry, and dozens of other indie brands. If you’re anything like us, you won’t leave empty-handed. Or hungry.
