Blue Copper Coffee Room is located two doors up from the Blue Copper roaster in Salt Lake City’s Central Ninth district. Born of the third-wave movement, it’s where you go for specialty light roasts, ethically sourced beans, addictive cinnamon crumb cake, and some of the friendliest baristas in Utah. The indoor seating gets a little snug when busy, but there is a sizable outdoor patio with loads more tables, chairs, benches, and umbrellas. Bring your laptop, hang out for awhile—the friendly baristas don’t mind.
If you dig what you’re drinking, consider purchasing Blue Copper’s weekly or monthly subscription plan. Twelve-ounce bags of freshly roasted coffee ship out every Tuesday. A recent Milk & Honey espresso blend was described as having “a particularly milky mouthfeel and honey-like sweetness, complemented with floral undertones and a juicy grape finish.” Hubba-hubba!
